Breakthrough Graduates Ready for the Rigor of Miami’s Most Challenging High Schools

80% of our rising 9th graders were accepted into college preparatory high school programs, positioning themselves early for college by attending the most rigorous high school programs in Miami-Dade County including: Coral Gables IB, Coral Reef IB, Coral Reef High, Maritime and Science Technology (MAST) Academy, New World School of the Arts, Gulliver Prep, Academy of Arts and Minds, Palmetto High, Archbishop Curley, Robert Morgan, Young Women’s Preparatory Academy, and Design and Architecture High (DASH). We are confident that after three summers of intensive academic prep and a school-year program that included high school admissions counseling and placement guidance, all Breakthrough graduates are well prepared and firmly on the path to college.

ACCEPTED! Breakthrough Students Go to College!

Breakthrough’s class of 2007 was quite successful! All 45 seniors graduated from high school, with 97% of them entering college; 86% currently attend a 4-year school, while the remaining 11% attend a 2-year community college. Some of the colleges and universities our students were accepted into include Columbia, Florida State, Florida A&M, Florida International University, University of Central Florida, University of Florida, University of Miami, University of North Carolina, and Vanderbilt.
